Best Buy is canceling all PS3 pre-orders and replacing them with a $10 dollar "sorry we screwed you" coupon.
Adobe + Mozilla = Open Source Flash Player
Adobe and Mozilla today announced that Adobe has contributed source code for the ActionScript Virtual Machine to the Mozilla Foundation. Mozilla will host a new open source project, called Tamarin, to accelerate the development of this standards-based approach for creating rich and engaging web applications.

3rd Party Cookies in Firefox 2.0
Firefox used to block 3rd part cookies but 2.0 removed the option. To fix the problem go to about:config in the address bar and change network.cookie.cookieBehavior from 0 to 1.

Microsoft Removes Transfer Limitations From Vista
Microsoft has revised the Windows Vista retail license to to make PC users happy.
Vista and Office '07 Launch November 30th
A Microsoft spokesperson has confirmed that the planned release dates for Vista and Office are indeed November 30 after all, fulfilling Microsoft’s promise of delivering Vista in 2006. However, the general consumer versions of Vista are still planned for a January 2007 release, with the rumoured date of January 30.

Wireless iPod Dock
Silex Technology has just announced a wireless dock for the iPod. The dock lets you charge your iPod, use the Apple remote, and stream video and audio from your computer to your entertainment system. It also comes with SVL software for Windows and Mac and should be coming out next week but still no price. This thing sounds awesome.
Bob Barker Retiring After 50 Years
Bob has been the host of The Price is Right for 35 years and has been on television for 50. He said, "I will be 83 years old on December 12, and I've decided to retire while I'm still young." I hope I'm that young when I'm that old.
