TechTV-ish / YouTube-ish Kinda Thing
The guys of TechTV have come across an offer that's looking pretty good. They've been getting a lot of reunion offer lately but one company had a completely new idea. They want to make a dedicated YouTube like web service for the TechTV audience to be able to watch and upload content and they're not talking old content, they want all new material. They're hoping to get support from previous TechTV relations and have this awesome idea up and running by the end of this year.

Another view of the iPod Wi-Phone
This looks like it's been pulled right from Apples web site or maybe a presentation. This photo is a little different than the one i previously posted. Ass you can see this iPod Phone only has the click wheel and no other buttons. My guess is that this is fake but at least it gives us an idea of what to expect, maybe.

Diggnation Flash Banner
Strait from the source,"Ever since I heard that Kevin and Alex admit to playing those annoying flash banner ad games, I figured there should be slightly less annoying Diggnation banner ad. So I whipped up this one as soon as I could. It even has a bonus monkey shooting game for Alex ;) Don't forget to hit up Johnny Johnny for a SHOTS boost! It opens a popup of the diggnation site when you win, but as Kevin says, if you have a decent popup blocker, nothing happens." You can also get the source code from this article. Diggnation rocks.

DiscT@2 Technology
Yamaha has developed their own version of light scribe. Instead of burning images on top of the disk, Yamaha allows you to burn images onto the bottom of the disk in areas that have not been used for data storage. This is pretty cool cause now you can have a graphic on the top of your disc and put a company logo, playlist, or something to that effect on the bottom. Good idea Yamaha, i used to Wright shit in permanent marker on the bottoms before but this is much better.

The Best Of The Best Firefox Extensions
I've been a Firefox user for over a year now and I'm really big on personalization. After reading so many "Must Have Firefox Extensions" lists, I realized i have just about every one of the extensions they put on their list only my list is much bigger. So I have decided to make a list of my own combining the best of the best Firefox extensions.
All-in-One Sidebar - Allows you to view your extensions, themes, downloads, and more in the sidebar.
BlogThis - Adds right-click access to Blogger's BlogThis popup.
BugMeNot - Bypasses registration for most popular websites.
Colorful Tabs - Colors every tab in a different color and makes them easy to distinguish.
del.icio.us Complete - del.icio.us is a social bookmark manager. It allows you to easily add sites you like to your personal collection of links, to categorize those sites with keywords, and to share your collection not only between your own browsers and machines, but also with others.
deskCut - Adds desktop shortcut creation to the context-menu. Also allows drag and drop.
Download Embedded - Downloads all or selected embedded objects on a webpage. Can be used for downloading movies, mp3s, flash, QuickTime, or other embedded files.
Download Statusbar - View and manage downloads from a tidy statusbar - without the download window getting in the way.
Firefox Extension Backup Extension (FEBE) - FEBE backs up your extensions, themes, and (optionally) your bookmarks, preferences, passwords, cookies and just about everything else Firefox offers. You can also use Compact Library Extension Organizer (CLEO) in addition to this extension to make one convenient .xpi file. (Thanks Shadoefax)
Firefox Showcase - Creates thumbnails in a tab allowing you to view, magnify, close, and select Multiple tabs.
Forecastfox Enhanced - The best weather extension out their for Firefox including forecast, current conditions and radar.
FoxyTunes - Puts a skinable music controller right in your browser. Supports WinAmp, iTunes, Yahoo Music Engine, Pandora, foobar2000, Windows Media Player, Xbox Media Center, Musicmatch, Quintessential, J. River, jetAudio, XMPlay, MediaMonkey, Media Player Classic, Sonique, wxMusik, Real Player, XMMS, Noatun, Juk, Amarok, Music Player Daemon, Rhythmbox and many other players.
Gmail Notifier - Puts a Gmail notification icon in the statusbar.
GooglePreview - Inserts preview images (thumbnails) of web sites and Amazon products into the Google and Yahoo search results pages.
Greasemonkey - Allows you to customize the way a webpage displays using small bits of JavaScript. Hundreds of scripts, for a wide variety of popular sites, are already available at http://userscripts.org.
IE Tab - Embedding Internet Explorer in tabs of Mozilla/Firefox.
Image Zoom - Easily zoom in, zoom out, fit image to screen or set custom zoom on individual images within a web page.
MR Tech Disable XPI Install Delay - Disables default delay when installing extensions.
Nuke Anything Enhanced - Allow hiding of almost anything -for example before printing - via context menu "Remove Object". The effect of this extension are temporary, you can use "Remove It Permanently" if you want your removed objects to be remembered.
PDF Download - Allows to choose if you want to view a PDF file inside the browser (as PDF or HTML), if you want to view it outside Firefox with your default or custom PDF reader, or if you want to download it.
RiteOfTongue - Right-click on a typed word inside a web form to check if the word is spelt correctly and get alternate suggestions if it is wrong. Then select the word from the popup menu to change it. The words are obtained in real-time over the Internet using the dictionary service from Dict.org.
Screen grab! - You can save the entire page as an image (it scrolls around the page taking shots and stitches it together), just the visible portion, or the browser window.
Search Engine Ordering - Rearrange and delete the search engines in Firefox's search bar.
SearchWith - SearchWith extension allows you to search selected text with various search services. It adds a "Search With" sub menu on the context menu (right-click menu) with a configurable list of search services that can be used to search the highlighted text. It also adds the custom search engines you've added to your search bar..
SessionSaver - SessionSaver restores your browser -exactly- as you left it, every startup, every time. Not even a crash will phase it. Windows, tabs, even things you were typing -- they're all saved. Use the menu to add + remove sessions; right, shift, or middle-clicking will delete. "Simple mode" for peace of mind, or "Expert mode" for advanced flexibility.
superT - Main Features: Tab Clicking Options, Tab Bar Options, Undo Close Tab, Duplicate Tab, Tab Picker, New Tab Button, Tab Overflow Menus, Multi-Row Tab Bar, and more!

More Wii-mote Facts
A couple new things about the Wii-mote to answer some questions...It will be powered by 2 AA batteries with a life of 30 to 60 hours depending on use. It communicates with the counsel via Bluetooth. It will contain 6KB of memory, reasons unknown. That sync button you might have seen on the Wii is to sync up the controllers. LEDs will serve as a battery meter at start up. It will have rumble that you can turn on or off. i didn't know how to explain this one so..."According to documentation the Wii-mote is able to act as something of an eye, measuring coordinates between 0-1023 on the X axis and 0-767 on the Y axis, which means that it is more or less seeing a megapixel image. Whether or not this data can be interrupted into visual information remains unknown, but we're not ruling out the possibility that the pointer could sub as a camera."

No More UMD Movies
So there cutting the shortly popular UMD movies for the PSP because sales suck and studios don't want to produce them any more. Sony has a new idea for strait to Memory Stick movies. One would buy a disk with four movies on it then would only be allowed to pick one movie of the four and the rest would be locked unable to load. These movies will be pre set to 320x240 resolution, MPEG -4 format, and be easier to port to the PSP. A fairly good idea, and if it works for the iPod too it would be an even better idea. They need to start putting MPEG-4 formats at this resolution on every DVD and sales would be even better in my opinion.
